Rossland & District Search & Rescue

RADSAR is a volunteer-run Ground Search and Rescue (GSAR) group providing search, rescue, and community support across our mountainous region. We’re trained to provincial standards and activated by the RCMP, Fire, or Ambulance through 9-1-1. Our team includes ground searchers, rope rescue technicians, avalanche responders, drone pilots, e-bike and sled specialists, as well as non-operational members who keep our organization running. We train year-round to respond safely, professionally, and quickly when our community needs us most, including night operations and severe weather response.
